OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL – The Web development team at Movéo Integrated Branding, a full-service branding and communications firm now celebrating its 20th anniversary, has launched new websites for Alloyd Brands and Little Pilgrims.
Alloyd Brands, part of Tegrant Corporation, is an integrated packaging solutions provider. Company leadership felt that its existing site did not fully support its vision of being the North American leader of packaging products and services. In addition, Alloyd had recently overhauled its brand and needed its online home to reflect this new positioning. The company tasked Movéo with developing a site that would highlight their ability to take on any packaging challenge, large or small. The web development team’s solution focused on the introduction of photo viewers and interactive presentations that brought Alloyd’s intensive packaging development process to life.
“As a web developer, it’s satisfying when you can find ways to engage the user in a specific area of a site,” said Jeff Jonjevic, Web Engineer at Movéo. “With the photo viewer, we were able to take a typical gallery of static images and give it a more dynamic and interesting presence on the page, enticing the user to interact with it.”
Soon after the new site was up, Alloyd saw a significant gain in customer inquiries. “Movéo gave Alloyd’s website a new and exciting look and feel and really simplified the navigation experience,” Rob VanGilse, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Alloyd said. “Our site finally matched our leading position in the market.”
Movéo has also completed a new site for Little Pilgrims, an online community that provides information and educational products to parents of autistic children. Movéo’s web development team helped the originators of LittlePilgrims.com to realize their goal of having a comprehensive autism information source that also allowed people to share thoughts and challenges. Programmers integrated an online forum where parents could discuss ideas and ask questions. An educational products section, complete with an e-commerce purchasing system, was also created so that the organization could showcase and sell its line of books and videos, which help autistic children learn more effectively.
“We wanted to assist the many parents who are fighting to help their children be the best that they can be,” said Dave Cannon, Movéo’s Director of Interactive Services. “Our hope is that the Little Pilgrims community will help thousands learn about and share the most current information about autism that’s available.”
