Movéo Announces New Marketing Scholarship Award

OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL – Movéo Integrated Branding, a full-service branding and communications firm specializing in B2B and healthcare marketing, has announced the winner of the first Movéo Integrated Branding Scholarship.

The award, funded by Movéo staff members in celebration of the firm’s 20th anniversary, was established in the names of Movéo partners Bob Murphy and Brian Davies at the Northern Illinois University School of Marketing.

The first scholarship winner, Benjamin Dixon, is a senior at NIU majoring in Marketing. Dixon started and sold a company while a student, and recently launched a real estate investment firm. In 2007, Dixon received NIU’s Aspiring Entrepreneur Award.

The scholarship was awarded at a ceremony in DeKalb, Illinois, attended by Murphy and Davies, both graduates of NIU. “It’s gratifying to see students such as Ben applying their learning to real world situations and achieving a high level of success,” said Murphy.

The Scholar’s Presentation Ceremony was hosted by Dr. Tanuja Singh, Chair of NIU’s Department of Marketing. “Over the past several years, our sponsors’ support has enabled us to increase the number of scholarships, helping to support the efforts of many talented students,” said Dr. Singh.
