Movéo’s Higher Education Marketing Work Earns Gold and Silver in 2012 Communicator Awards

OAKBROOK TERRACE, ILLINOIS – Movéo Integrated Branding, a hybrid brand consultancy and marketing communications firm, has developed two award-winning marketing campaigns for Waubonsee Community College. Movéo’s work has earned the college an Award of Excellence (gold) and an Award of Distinction (silver) in the 18th Annual Communicator Awards. The competition is a leading, international marketing awards program that receives over 6,000 entries annually.

Waubonsee received the Award of Excellence for Movéo’s “All in Aurora” campaign, which used billboards to showcase the college’s offerings at its new Aurora campus.

Waubonsee earned the Award of Distinction for Movéo’s simple, yet effective television commercials that used “fast facts” to spotlight the campus and its resources. The 15-second TV spots relied on bold type and vignette-like imagery to challenge conventional ideas about what it means to attend a “good” college.
