OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL – A 2007 television commercial created for Waubonsee Community College by Movéo Integrated Branding has earned honors in a national awards competition. Movéo, a hybrid brand consultancy and communications firm, has been handling branding and marketing for the college since early 2006.
The commercial earned a Bronze in the 23rd Annual Admissions Advertising Awards in the category for schools with 5,000-9,999 students. The Admissions Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most prestigious advertising awards competition for college marketing. Each year, entries are received from every state in the U.S. and several foreign countries.
The 30-second television commercial, “Make It Happen,” was designed to build awareness for the college. A 15-second version of the commercial also appeared in local movie theaters. After a successful run, Waubonsee has asked Movéo to work on a second television spot for 2008.
